A work in progress over a period of time now has been a project I presented to the principal of Gulset Ungdomsskole.
They had been dabbling with the idea of getting a new logo and profile for the school for some time, but due to limited budgets, they tried using students and faculty ideas for completing the task. Unfortunately, it didn’t result in any logo they felt like using.
At a parent-teacher conference, the principal of the school mentioned this as something they would like to do for the school, but that they yet to come up with something they were comfortable using.
This sparked ideas in me and I reached out to propose that I could do this for them. And after a meeting with the principal, we agreed upon me presenting them with some ideas and designs.
After an introductory phase, I presented them with two logos. They presented this for the faculty and students and had a vote as to which one they would like to use. They went with my “dandelion” logo proposal, which I then designed a complete design profile for.
This has been an exciting and educational project, and I am pleased with the outcome and happy that the school now has a new identity they feel comfortable with and look forward to branding their school with.
